My friend brought back a 2 week old Alaskan Malamute puppy from vacation for me as a gift. I'm clueless of what to feed her. She is 2-3 weeks old. When your dog responds well, praise verbally, pat the dog, or give a small treat. If the aggression is quite bad, you may need to try a correction collar, although this should not be used for extended periods. Remember, Mallies are a dominant breed. You, as the owner, must show your boy that you are the boss and the pack leader. At the moment he is at the top and this needs to be reversed. Also remember, as mentioned, that Mallies can be same sex aggressive.
