Latest American Water Spaniel Frequently Asked Questions:
Just looking for any, I can decide then if they are reputable.....I'm in Indiana, but traveling for a good companion doesn't bother me much.
Answer:Yes, that breed of dog is lovable and suitable for any owner :) very nice dogs indeed. It depends what kind of person you are, do you work most of the day? are you home all the time? So, if you have a job or anything you have to do taht you stay away form where the dog would be staying, I'd get a breed of dog that doesnt get TO ATTACHED to their owner. If you are always there where your dog would stay or be, then go for a dog that is lovable and always LOVES LOVES loves to be with you. Thats the kind I have :). Breeds that dont get to attached much - some bigger dogs such as pit bul's and shepherd dogs. Breeds that need you there by there side - Little dogs, or neutral such as Cocker Spaniel's and chihuahua's between those breeds. It pretty much depends on what the dogs attitude is. You'll know him/her when you see him/her.

Answer:If you're referring to the Klee Kai -- its breeders would have you think that it is "blessedly free" of health problems, however you may want to consider the health problems inherent to the American Eskimo and Pomeranian, both of which contributed genes to the Klee Kai. Specifically, I would be concerned about eye disease, i.e. juvenile cataracts, etc. Otherwise -- as others have said -- there is no such thing as a "Miniature American Husky". Good luck!

Also one that is generally quiet and does not bark a lot and likes water and is easy to train.
