Answer:there dont do well in training dont need a lot of grooming they only came in blue/tan or sandy.. there are good watch dog.. he is capable of killing all small vermin, including snakes..they can leave cat in peace unles it has been raised with them since puppy hood.
I want to buy an Australian Terrier, and the lady said that her puppies are 1500.00 dollars. Is this a normal price. It seems a bit high to me....so I am thinking of not getting one and going with a different breed. Is there anyone out there that this dog is worth that price? Well, last night I had a dream that I got a new dog (ive been wanting a dog for a while now) and it was a Maltese Terrier cross Australian Terrier. Now, In my dream it was unbelievably cute, and I wanted to see if there was such a thing. I did a google search, but found no such breed. Does anybody know where I can find pictures of them? - Thanks

He is about 6 months old. I have read that australian terriers shed little to no hair, but my australian terrier is shedding quite a lot of hair. is this normal? I was thinking maybe he is losing his puppy hair, and growing adult hair. Im not sure though.
Answer:Yes .. almost all dogs will shed.. i work at a grooming salon and almost every dog will shed its blowing its coat and growing a thicker one for winter.. .they do this twice a year and that is when you'll mainly see the hair... and they do have devices like one we have at work called the furminator tool we use helps ALOT!
