Answer:The Shi tzu is a lot differt from owning a terrier. The three terriers listed are consider rair breeds. You will not find them in the news paper, pet store and please forget the puppy mill. Most people have never seen these dogs. Being on a waiting list is not uncommon and neither is traveling a long distances to get one. The hard part is finding a right person to sell you one. These three are mild terriers, but terriers. All of these dogs are consider very light shredder. The Norwich and Norfolk are similar. The difference is the ears. The Australian is bigger and has a different personality than the other two. They are the first recognize breed from Australia; thus, the nickname ‘Aussie’. They were design to be ratter, hurdlers, and protect the family. The Australian Terrier is an outstanding little dog, they are coragious . This breed has a lot of pluses, I suggest you read about them. We have two of them. Aussies work well for a person who makes them as a member of the family. They fail as fence runner. Answer:Yes, they are wonderful dogs... If you're the right person to own them? You don't mention where you live. They are very energetic dogs so they need much attention or an environment that makes them happy. Keeping them locked up at home all day isn't good... They will chew the door down. They are very smart and that can be a problem. Smart dogs get bored and cause destruction of your home. I have one retarded dog and he is great... Never wonders about anything and is a very good pet... If you're a real dog lover and have the time and patients then I say go for it. If you work all day and want to leave it in an appartment..
