Latest Beauceron Frequently Asked Questions:
I live in Citrus Heights(Northern California).I'm 15 and I'm the youngest in the family,I have a lot of free time in which i could train and exercise the dog,my family lives in duplex(with 4 bedrooms and a medium backyard).I could exercise the dog in two big parks that are 5 minutes by walking
Answer:None of those breeds are really 'pets'...they're working dogs that need experienced handlers and most often, a 'job'. They also are not the types of dogs you'd take to romp in a dog park or expect to be highly sociable with strangers and other dogs. They're all great breeds but at your age I think a labrador, australian shepherd, golden retriever, or other more 'mainstream' breed is more suitable.
Answer:Yes, I have one! They are a very strong and determined herding shepherd that also have a silly and mischievious side. Very loyal and affectionate with family, but can be aloof with strangers. They are incredibly smart but you have to be more than incredibly smart to manage them. ;-) Not a good breed for a first-time dog owner or a lazy person. These dogs require TONS of excercise and mental stimulation or they will be unhappy and possibly destructive. They are a beautiful and noble breed that predates the Doberman by 400 years. I love my Beauceron!
Answer:I think that you should get a German Shepard. They are loyal, playful companions. But, that is just my choice. But I think you should choose. You should choose the one that fits your lifestyle and the one you prefer more. Hope this helped! Good Luck!

I was wondering if anyone knows any Beauceron dog breeders in Australia? or websites with breeders details? thanks
