Does anyone know anything about a BLUE Brussels Griffon? This is a Silver/Gray Color Coat. We know it is not AKC Standard, we just heard a myth about it, and were wandering if it was true. We heard that at around 10 weeks, their hair will fall out? Anyone know more about this? Yes. There is such a thing as the color blue in Brussels Griffons. All I want to know is if anything knows about the ' Hair falling out ' I hope you're right. We have one that will be coming close to being 10 weeks old now. We noticed you can easily pull out his hair.. and as far as we know, his siblings didn't have this problem. Here's a baby picture of him : http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff299/Moomalicious/100_2793_00.jpg
Answer:That's BULLSHI*!!! Rough coated BG are HAND-STRIPPED!!! Coat is PULLED out at that age...more or less...& is KEPT hand-stripped forever.
the dog just started doing this. He licks his nose and sneezes. He does go out of the house and gets into dirt. I am going to take him to the vet but want to see if anyone has experienced this with their griff. If so, are there any home remedies that will assist with the elimination.
Answer:Get a flashlight and look up the nasal passages of the dog and see if you see any dirt or debris in the nose. It may have gotten something up there and can't dislodge it. It may also be getting a cold and it's sinuses are itching. Check it out for yourself and then give it a day to see if it stops on its own. If not, then take it to the vet. Good Luck!
