I want to buy a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but I don't know around how much they will cost. I want a Blenheim or a Prince Charles(Those are the colors of the dogs) and I want him like about 6 or 7 weeks old and potty trained. Also I want him/her to have his shots already. So Do any of you guys know how much just dog would cost with all these?
Answer:In your dreams to adopt a puppy at that age that is already potty trained. Or even be able to get one at that age. A breeder will never adopt out a Cavalier puppy no sooner than 8 to 12 weeks of age. The only thing you will have that you want is the first set of shots. But you will need to get additional shots every 4 weeks until the puppy is 4 months old. As far as the potty training goes I raise and show Cavaliers and it takes me until about 4 months of age until the puppy is completely potty trained. I begin working with them as soon as they can walk at 4 weeks of age. The average person up to a year before it's potty trained. They cost between $900 and $1,200 in the Eastern region of the United State and anywhere from $1,200 to $2,500 on the west coast.
I have a staffy who is 2 years old, very energetic, and i want to get a cavalier king charles spaniel, would they get along? if not, what is the best breed (small dog) my staffy would get along with?
Answer:How is your dog with other dogs? Have you tried a dog parks? Some dogs don’t like other dogs come into their home? Have you tried having another dog over for a sleep over? In most case, these things can be worked out. We have two dogs (same breed) and it is different from having one. I cannot say anything bad about either of these breeds listed. The personalities of these dogs are so different??? After owning a Staffordshire bull terrier, I don’t know that I would want a kings Charles. It may be harder on you than your dog.
My girlfriend really wants a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel for Christmas...but it's impossible to find a place to buy one, except these AKC-Certified breeders who are charging upwards of $1500-$2000 for them. When we got our Pomeranian, it was from a local breeder for $300. Does anyone know where I can find those types of breeders?
