Latest English Foxhound Frequently Asked Questions:

  • does anyone know where i can buy a foxhound puppy?
i live in west yorkshire in england UK and i like foxhounds does anyone know a uk seller of foxhound puppys i prefer american foxhounds to english foxhounds but any will do, these dogs are rare as they are owned normally by posh farmers as shooting partners. please someone help me. also if anyone knows a place in west yorkshire to buy irish/long legged staffys please post. foxhounds are extremely rare there will not be any in shelters. i know this because i cant even find any owners let alone sellers. and the chances of an irish staffy been in a shelter is slim. i like long legged dogs. the website left for the dog finder is for US & canada i live in england :S
Answer:There are so many Foxhounds and Staffy's in shelters. You should check them out first.

  • My dog has been throwing up for the past 2 days, what can i do for her?
She's a medium size dog, an English Foxhound, and she weights about 80 pounds if any of this matters. But for the past 2 nights i've come home to a huge mess of puke and she even woke me up in the middle of the night last night because she needed to go out and get sick. Is there anything i can give her to help with her stomach ache?
Answer:Vomiting for more than 24 hours means it's time to get your vet involved. Some things it could be include intestinal parasites, intestinal blockage, dietary indiscretion (ate something she shouldn't), bacterial overgrowth, and kidney/liver disease. If you want to try something before going to the vet, you can try giving her no food for 24 hours, but make sure she keeps drinking. If she is not vomiting at the end of that, give her small amounts of bland food (steamed rice, boiled chicken, chicken baby food, chicken broth) and see if she holds that down.

  • Could someone tell me if the mig 31 foxhound has never had air battles?
Sorry for my english,i'm writing from Milan,Lombardy. Greetings for you all and for you're fantastic land! ;-)
Answer:The Mig-31 has never been on combat, but the Mig-25 has and lost every time. There is a serious problem with the design of both the Mig-25 and Mig-31, it is that they are severely limited in all areas in order to provide a high maximum speed. When they are used in modern combat roles, they are just not suited very well at all. They are vulnerable in every way when they are not used as intended, as interceptors. They are extremely poorly suited to being patrol aircraft, since they cannot really do anything but run when confronted. If they were to try and engage in a dogfight or engage the enemy in any way but as an interceptor, they would be outperformed in every way. They would not even be able to make use of their speed because it takes a good deal of time to reach that speed.

  • What Type Of Dog Should I Get?
pick three dogs, ok. Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Alusky, Aussie Bulldog, Aussie Shepherd, Beagle, Border Collie, Bull Border, Bulldog, English Foxhound, German Shepherd, Golden Sheltie, Japanese Spitz, Kai Dog, Lab (Labrador Retriever), Mini Aussie, Mini Bulldog, Pomeranian, Pug, Sheltie, Shiba Inu, Siberian Husky, Titan Bulldog, Welsh Corgi, Wolf (Domestic), Wolamute
Answer:Go to YAHOO! and type in "dog breed selector" Several questionnaires will come up. They will ask you about your lifestyle and preferences. This should give you a good idea about the breed good for you. Once you get it narrowed down, go to akc.com and look at the breed standard. then you may want to volunteer at a shelter or rescue so you can meet the dogs in person and see if you connect. Another resource might be to go to a dog show. Whatever you do, don't go to a pet shop or a backyard breeder
