Answer:A crate needs to be big enough to stand up and turn around in. Depending on the brand of crate, there might be breed recommendations for each size right on the side. For a smaller puppy, you can buy crates that come with dividers.
I'm just wondering what kind of brushes/combs I need to groom him. I'm not planning on doing any clipping (I'm a little intimidated by that). There are sooooo many choices of brushes and combs at the pet store! I just want to know what I need to keep him tangle free between groomings.
Answer:You need a good quality pin brush which you use to brush the whole dog. A slicker which is used only to tease out mats (you need to be careful with this one, you can give the dog what's called slicker burn). A comb to finish off if you like. You also need nail clippers for his nails.
