I have a 2 year old male english springer spaniel, and his ears are so bad they smell like it is yeast, i put the yeast medicine in his ears like the vet said, but it seems not to help, can anyone tell me of anything i can use to help my poor dog? :(
Answer:If you and your vet are absolutely certain that the infection is a yeast infection, then the best thing for your dog would be to clean the ears twice a day with a white vinegar solution...Simply mix white vinegar half and half with rubbing alcohol....Clean the ears twice a day with this solution...This will kill the yeast as well as any resulting infection... Please continue to use the meds from your vet at least every other day...Within two weeks of diligence, your dogs will be yeast free... :-) After the infection is gone, please continue cleaning your dogs ears with the vinegar/alcohol solution about once a week and the infection will never come back....GOOD LUCK !!!
I have an english springer spaniel she is very cute and I want her to be follow me and all that. So how can I get her to be more attatched to me like do i need to walk her more or throw her chew toy a couple of times help pls!!
Answer:how old is she? I have a 4 month old springer, and in the back of our field she always comes back to us when we call her. Just give her attention and love. Thats the key to your relationship with your dog. She will love you if you feed her. Basically! They always work around food. So give her extra hugs and attention! Answer:I have two, and the most recent was a rescue from English Springer Rescue America. I highly recommend them! They are a very reponsible and reputable rescue. They do get pupies as well, and always have young dogs for adoption.
i am considering getting a spaniel; are they very active or more laid back like a golden. i love goldens and i want to get back into dog agility and obedience. i have had experience but i dont want a totally out of control active dog. any suggestions. springer owners please speak up! thanks!
Answer:Many Goldens are not very laid back. The show Goldens are laid back, but the obedience ones are not. Springers are pretty active too!!! Most of the spaniels are...except the Clumber!!!!
I just bought a springer spaniel puppy and it was born on monday so i don't know what it looks like yet we are going to pick one out the first week of May.
Answer:It's a good idea to get the dog first and then pick a name that suits their personality. Onced you meet your new pup a name may spring to mind.
