Anyone know where I can find a Giant Schnauzer breeder here in Phoenix AZ?? I see them at the dog parks but dont know where I can actually get one. If you are going to send me links please make sure they show breeders in AZ. I tried the whole rescue thing but non will let me rescue if I have a child in the house which I do and she's 6 and know's better than to pull a dogs ear or hit one. Can anyone help?? Schnauzers are not very common here even when you try to rescue. Answer:If you do get a Giant Schnauzer, make sure and feed it only quality, healthy food. Are you aware of the number of giant (and large too) breed dogs in this country that have hip problems? It is because of the food. Giant breeds DO NOT need their growth speeded up.
did anyone else think the jiant schnauzer should not have won crufts this year? i diddnt think he put up that good - a performence. what do you think?

I am currently thinking about getting a dog, and researching dog breeds. One breed that I think will fit my family is a Giant Schnauzer. I am concerned about how much exercise they need. I will play with the dog everyday, and take it on a long walk, but would that be enough? From what I have read they need alot of exercise. Does anyone have a Giant Schnauzer who can tell me how they exercise their dog? Also, did your Giant Schnauzer potty train easily?
