Latest Greyhound Frequently Asked Questions:
I am thinking of rehoming a greyhound. My partner and I work fairly long hours and would not consider getting any other breed of dog that requires more active attention during the day, but I understand greyhounds are happy to sleep most of the day. If someone were to come in midday to let it out for a short walk, does anyone know if the dog would then be content on its own for 4 or 5 hours before and after that midday break until either me or my partner gets home? I would not wish to take on a dog if its going to be unhappy with my lifestyle, but I also wouldn't a greyhound to miss out on being rehomed if it is feasible for me to do so.
Answer:We have 3 rehomed greyhounds and they really are couch potatoes and can remain on their own for a few hours. They do require some company though (hence having 3 now instead of 1) so do make sure you go home at lunchtime to take it for a walk. Two 20 minute walks a day are sufficient although they would love more if possible. They are the most docile, lovable dogs I have ever known and they will pay you back in love 10 fold for adopting one from a rescue centre. Good luck.
Im staying at the hilton hotel in universal city and need to get to san diego next week just wondered if anybody knew how far the greyhound depot was from that area?

I need the cheapest way to get from seattle greyhound station to the seattle airport. I hear the bus is the best way to go. I heard I can just walk from the greyhound station to the convention center and catch the MT194 bus there, and take it to the airport..... However Im not familiar with Seattle at all. So how do I get there?
Answer:It's about 3 blocks, so you would walk. You don't want to go to the convention center itself. You want the convention place bus tunnel entrance. It's around 9th and Pine, across from the Paramount theater. Take the escalator/elevator from 9th & Pine down to the tunnel entrance and get the bus there. I linked a map. It's a driving map though, and as a pedestrian, you don't have to obey one way streets, so it's not as bad as it looks. A is Greyhound. The place you want to go to catch the bus is across Pine Street from location B. It's the little structure on the corner of 9th and Pine, between the two forks of the white line labeled "Bus Ln". The little structure is the elevator to get down into the tunnel entrance.
I am planning to travel from Arizona to California by taking greyhound bus during thanksgiving (9/25/2009) at midnight. I found out that greyhound doesn't guarantee a seat for me even if I already bought the ticket (basically, 1st come 1st serve). So, how early should I arrive at Greyhound station to make sure that I can get a seat on my scheduled bus?
Answer:45 minutes
Im almost 17 years old, and currently on my own, and I was planning on catching a greyhound to go somewhere with higher paying jobs, so I can start a new life. But all I have is a highschool id and my social secruity card. Would that be enough id to purchase a ticket.
Answer:I don't think they even ask for I.D.. You should have your birth certificate if you are striking out on your own...you willneed it for other purposes as time goes on...like to get a drivers license or state I.D.card. Be careful and wise...and good luck.
